Erik Dyrland, Farmers Insurance Agent in Bellingham, made a generous contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County. Dyrland, who has served on the Corporate Board of the organization for over a decade, when asked “Why the Boys & Girls Clubs?”, found the answer quite easy. “It’s a safe place for kids. Now especially, as times are more difficult for parents, there are fewer opportunities for kids to be involved in positive activities. There is outstanding leadership at the Clubs, programs are well organized, and it is a place where kids can go after school and remain out of trouble.” Dyrland closed by saying, “What better investment is there in our future than to empower our kids into becoming outstanding young adults?”
For the third year running, Erik Dyrland has been selected as an “Elite Commercial Agent”. This Farmers Insurance designation requires that agents attain elevated standards including higher levels of planning, execution and dedication to customer service. Dyrland is the only Farmers agent north of Everett to have received the Elite honor in each year of its existence.
Dyrland continues to be named to the highest levels of standing by Farmers in programs such as Topper Club and Elite Commercial Agent. Farmers also deemed Dyrland an “Unsung Hero” recently for his continued volunteer service to the community.
